The Town of Pageland was issued a charter on January 11,
1908. Today, Pageland is Chesterfield County's second largest town, with a
growing population of nearly 3,000. The Town of Pageland is the home of the
annual Taste of Pageland which is held in April and the Pageland Watermelon Festival
which is held in July.
